Fear and Faith

Fear and Faith

Fear and faith are both belief systems: fear is negative while faith is positive: whatever a man can believe will surely happen to him whether good or bad. Job said in Job 3:25 that lo, what I greatly feared has happened to me. The enemies (dark forces) that seek to control our world has been using this knowledge to enslave mankind from the Garden of Eden till today. (See: Genesis 3:1-3).

Fear is a negative belief system or negative state of mind that may destroy you if you do not make conscious effort to knock them out. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of sound mind (see 2nd Timothy 1:7). Every fear is a product of wrong mind-set or negative thoughts stored in your subconscious mind (your spirit). Most times, these thought patterns are put in us through our environment, the media, past experiences and other human beings (1st Peter 1:18).

Every fear is a ‘phrase or clause’ stored in our unconscious mind. These thought patterns control our world and our realities come from them (See Proverbs 4:23).

SOME COMMON FEARS AND THE PHRASES THAT FORM THEM:

The thought patterns that causes fear are stored in people’s minds as phrases or oxymoron.

  1. FEAR OF CRITICISM.

This fear is stored with the phrase: AM NOT SURE OF MYSELF. Thus either you or your world has made you feel you are not qualified to do something perfectly. People feel this fear as a lack of confidence in themselves. You have to know that you have your life to live and you are not accountable to anybody but God.

This is a common fear for most people and this fear is stored in the mind as:

  • DEATH MAY COME TO ME AND MY DEPENDENTS WILL SUFFER.
  • IF I DIE I MAY GO TO HELL.

  1. FEAR OF FAILURE.

This fear is responsible for many failures that people encounter in whatever they set out to do. Because by fear of failure, you are already expecting failure, and this fear is stored in our mind as: I MAY FAIL or I WILL FAIL

  1. FEAR OF LOSING LOVE.

This fear is very common in marriage with married people; and it is stored in the mind as:

  • MORE HANDSOME/BEAUTIFUL/INTELLIGENT/RICHER/POWERFUL PERSON MAY TAKE MY LOVED ONE.

  • I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
  • But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

This fear is very common now with the recent killings by Muslim Jihadists; and this fear is stored as: MOSLEMS CAN KILL ME.

SOLUTION TO ISLAMOPHOBIA (Colossians 3:3)

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

FAITH on the other hand, is positive belief system that conveys God’s decision and word for our lives.

FAITH AS AN ACRONYM.

F.A.I.T.H = Fervent Attention Insight Thoughtful Habits.

Faith come by hearing, speaking and studying the word of God. Only by faith can we positively use the power of belief (See Mark 9:23).

                        FEELERS AND THINKERS

There are two types of human beings in terms of classification by the way they use their minds: The Feelers and The Thinkers.

Feelers are people who make decisions, take actions or respond to their world based on the way they feel about things, while thinkers are people who think deeply, logically or rationally about a thing before they act or respond. Thinkers live a more balanced life and are more productive. Their lives are more in shape than that of the feelers. Feelers are highly emotional people and they can hardly control their emotions and so they get easily manipulated.

THE GAIN-PAIN METAMORPHOSIS OF THE HUMAN MIND

Humans naturally are made to move away from pain to gain, or pain to pleasure. This is what the media and the dark forces exploit to control peoples’ lives in their advertisements, news and other information. This knowledge has made a lot of advertisers billionaires. They create a picture of pain and present solutions that in most cases may not be virtual solutions.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR MIND FROM MANIPULATION

  1. Know that there is no free thing in the universe.
  2. It is foolish to fear; live right, do your best and leave the rest to God.
  3. Be sure you know the price to pay for what you want.
  4. The world is a place for the brave not for cowards.
